Factory built cars generally tend to be of higher quality than self-build as they have plenty of practice to get things right and refine their processes to get things perfect. Some self-build cars can be of a very high standard where their builders are highly skilled craftsmen and take their time to create a car to be proud of. Factory built cars can be created in a shorter time period due to experience and facilities. Factory built cars do cost more money as the labour costs have to be covered.
