Enthusiasts of the 718-RSK

Rob Lindsay bought the moulds for the car many years ago back in the days of kit cars being very popular, where enthusiasts bought a cheap kit and set about making their dream icon car. Whilst there were some kits of very high build quality many sadly left much to be desired and the whole kit car industry consolidated to producing a mere fraction of the variety of cars that it once did with only the best ones managing to survive. 

Customers demanded ever higher quality products and finishes so much so that many of the cars today are factory built and managing to produce some outstanding vehicles.

Our particular body was moulded from an original Porsche 718-RSK before they were worth millions of pounds and I very much doubt any discerning owner would let anyone take a mould from their precious 718 nowadays. We are therefore very lucky to have this fine mould which is of extremely high quality giving us an outstanding finish on the bodywork.

Rob had been supplying kits and parts for almost 18 years to help the keen enthusiasts who share their passion for these beautiful cars. The original VW Beetle chassis option is still available however the newly developed options include double wishbone front suspension, increased leg room, a mid-engined fully-space-framed tubular chassis staying faithful to the original race cars. 

This really has brought the car into a new era with its beautiful classic design but now everything is as stunning under the body as above, making its beauty more than skin deep.

Rob sources parts, deals with suppliers and fabricators, helps with product design and general running, a fantastic all rounder capable of pretty much anything.
